Someone has taken a farm gate off its hinges - letting Sheep escape and roam free on the Mountain Road.
That's according to Police in a post on social media yesterday.
Officers say this 'for very obvious reasons' is a dangerous situation, which could have been easily prevented.
Authorities are asking the public to be 'more considerate' when entering fields or watching the races - adding if a gate is closed, it's likely shut for a reason.
Either don't use it, or show consideration by closing it behind you is the message from Police.
Fortunately, no road users or sheep were harmed yesterday - but officers add it could easily have been a very different story.
