Lifeboat crews in Peel were called out this week to rescue a sinking boat.
Just after 6pm on Tuesday teams were called to the aid of a fishing vessel whose pumps had failed about 21 miles west of Peel.
The stricken craft was escorted to Portavogie in Northern Ireland at which time the boat had managed to get its pumps back up and running.
The lifeboat was also called out a second time that evening at around 10pm to help a yacht which had a rope entangled in its prop which was safely towed into Peel Harbour.
