Shoplifting on the Island rose sharply after lockdown, but dropped last year, according to figures from the police.
A freedom of information request asked how many thefts from stores the Island has seen each year since 2020.
Just over 100 a year were seen during Covid in 2020 and 2021, rising to 146 after lockdowns were lifted.
Last year saw 132 offences recorded.
