Five Island residents honoured by King Charles

Five Island residents have been recognised in the Kings birthday honours list.

The government's emergency planning officer Jane Kelly has been awarded an MBE, as has Royal British Legion stalwart Claire McCabe.

Detective Constable Kate Crompton has been given the King's Police Medal for her work investigating serious sexual, and Margaret Quilliam has been awarded the Royal Victorian Medal for her service to Government House.

And Moira Chrystal is getting the British Empire Medal for her services to Ramsey after decades working for the local authority.
