Onchan MHK Julie Edge will raise the issue of port security in an urgent Tynwald question next week.
When the court sits, she'll ask Chief Minister Alf Cannan if there are any implications for the Isle of Man after rioting in Belfast.
She also wants to know if there's now tighter security in the Island's ports as a result.
Tynwald is due to sit from 10am on Tuesday, June 16 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
