Residents in the south of the Island are being reassured over a wandering peacock.
A post to an Island Facebook group earlier asked about the bird after it was spotted crossing roads in Port Erin.
The poster asked if anybody had lost it after she photographed it resting in the road.
But local residents say the colourful bird, called Zeus, is well-known in the village.
