Several Douglas roads to shut for drone show this week

A number of roads in central Douglas are to be closed for the council's drone show this week.

Sections of Loch Promenade, Harris Promenade, Victoria Street and Church Road Marina will shut between 7pm and 8pm on Friday, March 20.

Meanwhile there'll be parking restrictions on part of Loch Promenade opposite The Claremont Hotel from 9am to midnight.

And a stretch of the Promenade Walkway from the entrance to the Bottleneck car park will close to pedestrians from 7.15pm to 7.45pm - while temporary parking on the prom during the ongoing bus strike will be suspended from 5pm until the show is over.
