The Department of Infrastructure says contractors will be working on bus stops around the Island to make them more accessible.
On Facebook, it says the work involves fitting new raised kerbs which make it easier to get on and off buses.
The work will take place at 11 bus stops in Douglas, two in Braddan and three in Peel.
The DOI says it hopes to complete all of the upgrades by the end of May.
