A man living in a self-built cabin in the woods near Ramsey has been told he has to leave.
Dan Richardson's cabin has been on land at Nut Glen since 2018, with his home - made from recycled and reclaimed material - being nominated for a UNESCO biosphere award in 2019.
A court has now ruled that Mr Richardson has been living on government property, after a claim from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture four years ago.
Deemster John Needham has advised he must leave within the next five months.
An online petition has been launched to allow Mr Richardson to stay - so far there are 95 signatures.
