A local charity is urging people to use fishing gear responsibly, after a seal was injured.
The Manx Wildlife Trust's volunteer seal sitters and marine mammal medics were called to catch the creature on Kirk Michael beach at the weekend.
The seal had suffered a 'nasty injury' caused by fishing line, and is now with vets at the seal rehab centre for treatment.
The charity asks that anyone using fishing gear makes sure it's taken home and disposed of safely.
