Scambler elected to Onchan Commissioners

Mr Scambler won the three-way contest with 468 votes, which was 122 more than his nearest challenger Mark Mellor while James Corrin polled 186.

However, there was a very poor turnout in the village with just 15% making their way to the polls.

Mr Scambler, who’s a paramedic with the ambulance service, says his concentration will be on value for ratepayers and restoring confidence in the commissioners.
