The Water and Sewerage Authority are telling the Manx Public that it is once again safe to drink water from the tap.
Since Sunday people were asked to boil their water after high levels of sediment found its way into the Douglas treatment works.
The issue was said to be caused by last weekends heavy rainfall.
The problem has now been rectified and investigations have confirmed that the drinking water quality is of a satisfactory standard.
Chief Executive of the Authority, Peter Winstanley said at no point was the water 'contaminated'.
