Due to yesterday’s poor weather the packed racing programme had to be cancelled meaning it will now take place today.
The Supersport, Sidecar Event and TT Zero will all be held today now following on from yesterday’s rain, wind and fog.
Due to a change in the original scheduled times there is a strong likelihood that the road closures will affect commuters travelling home from work.
The Mountain is scheduled to close at 11am, with the rest of the course following at 11.30AM.
At 12.15pm there is a one-lap practice session for Friday’s Dainese Senior TT planned.
At 1pm the second Sure Sidecar race, over three laps, is schedule to start, with the four-lap Monster Energy Supersport 2 TT expected to get under way at 3pm.
The day’s programme is due to conclude with the one-lap TT Zero race for electric bikes starting at 5pm.
Roads aren't expected to begin opening till 5:30PM at the earliest.
With it being rush hour, commuters are being advised by the police to make travel arrangements which avoid that time is at all possible.
