A rider has died following an incident during today’s End 2 End mountain bike race.
The constabulary says it attended an off-road accident near to Ballacraine this afternoon during the event.
Officers have now confirmed a rider has passed away following the incident.
Authorities added further details will be released at a later time and are asking the public to respect the privacy of the family at this time.
