It was a night of surprises and records as the results of the Island's general election were released last night.
15 new MHKs were elected across the Island yesterday, while nine were voted back into their constituencies.
Sitting MHKs Alf Cannan, Rob Callister, Sarah Maltby, Claire Christian, David Ashford and Chris Thomas, Jane Poole-Wilson and Jason Moorhouse all won their contests.
However, Julie Edge, Clare Barber, Tim Johnston, Daphne Caine, Lawrie Hooper, and Ann Corlett were all voted out.
The Island has its youngest MHK in history after Daniel Davison, who's 18, won his contest in Glenfaba and Peel.
