Last night’s Manx Grand Prix session was red flagged following an incident in the Classic Superbike practice.
Newcomer Adam Nix came off at Sarah’s Cottage and the session was stopped shortly after it had started at 6.45pm.
He was conscious at the scene but was taken by helicopter to Noble’s Hospital.
Conditions round the course for the fourth qualifying session were generally good with some fast times posted including by Jamie Coward who recorded the two fastest times of the week.
Tonight’s racing is due to start at 6.20pm for the Senior, Junior, Super Twin and Newcomers with the rest of the classes due out at 7.05pm.
