Retired vicar accused of indecently assaulting child

A retired vicar has appeared in court today accused of indecently assaulting an eight-year-old girl.

Graham Gregory, who now lives in York, allegedly carried out the assault at some point between January and March 1990.

The court was told the offence reportedly took place whilst the now 80-year-old held the position of vicar at St Ninian's Church in Douglas.

Magistrates adjourned the case for three weeks - he's been bailed until his next court appearance on February 2nd.
