Chair of Manx Utilities Tim Crookall announced plans in Tynwald last week which could see a 20 Megawatt farm built by 2026.
A private group has been set up by Arbory and Rushen Commissioner Kirrie Jenkins, for residents in the south of the Island who have concerns about the potential for four to five wind turbines.
