Swing Bridge Closed Until Next Sunday
The Ramsey Swing Bridge has closed to traffic today for the best part of a week for emergency work to be carried out.
This bridge is closed to both cars and pedestrians whilst a vital part of the Swing Bridge mechanism is replaced.
The existing component that’s being replaced is believed to be over 100 years old.
Whilst the bridge is closed there will be a slight increase of traffic build up along the quayside.
It will reopen again at 6pm next Sunday.
