A hotel in Ramsey has applied for planning permission to expand and create more bedrooms and a new function area.
The Ramsey Park Hotel, on Park Road, says it wants to build an extension to provide another 30 bedrooms.
The development would also see alterations to the car park and a new road entrance from Mooragh Promenade.
In the application the company behind the hotel says it's proved very successful and now needs extra space to accommodate more guests.
The Ramsey Park Hotel opened in 2012 after the demolition of the Grand Island and employs 18 members of staff.
Managing director Richard Grime says since it opened the hotel's steadily increased its bookings and now needs to expand.
He says the function room would be able to cater for up to 250 people at weddings and corporate events.
And he adds if the plans are approved they'd create new jobs and increase the business's contribution to the economy.
