Figures show less than half of Isle of Man patients get a copy of hospital correspondence.
Health and Social Care minister Kate Beecroft was quizzed on the average waiting time for patients to receive letters from Noble's between diagnosis and treatment.
Mrs Beecroft says all urgent letters relating to patients with diagnosis of cancer are complete with two working days.
However, between April to September this year out of 40,914 letters only 40 percent of Manx patients received a copy.
Mrs Beecroft says the hospital is currently reviewing its process in order to improve the amount of letters sent and the time it takes.
