Questions over 20 limits raised in Tynwald next week

Questions about the Island's impending 20mph urban speed limit will be raised when Tynwald sits next week.

When MHKs gather on Tuesday morning, there's a series of questions for Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood and Justice Minister Jane Poole-Wilson about the proposals.

Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas wants to know what police thought of the changes, how objections to the change will be considered and how many people have been caught speeding recently.

Meanwhile, Arbory, Malew and Castletown MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask about the government's response to a petition on the issue.
