One of the Island's queenie fisheries opens today.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says the trawl fishery for queen scallops in the Island's territorial sea will have a total allowable catch of 1,350 tonnes.
Fishing can go on seven days a week, but is banned between 6pm and 6am, and the weekly catch limit is set at 8,520 kg - around 284 bags.
The scallop dredge fishery is due to open in October.
