The public is being warned of a 'heightened risk of wildfires' due to the ground being 'tinder dry.'
Government is asking people don't light campfires or disposable BBQs in the countryside as small fires could spread quickly.
It comes as crews from all of the Island's fire stations attended outside blazes last week.
Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture, Clare Barber asks that people avoid lighting BBQs, fires, or discarding cigarettes could endanger lives and destroy property, habitat and crops.
