The public are being reminded of the dangers of leaving garden fires unattended during the summer.
It follows an incident at a property in Abbeylands yesterday.
At approximately 12.15pm fire crews were dispatched to an address after reports of smoke issuing from the garden.
The blaze was quickly extinguished using a high pressure hose reel.
The Fire and Rescue Service says garden fires can spread very quickly through trees and undergrowth - people have been urged to always extinguish a fire before leaving it.
