There are plans to make a huge depiction of the three legs of Man stand out more in the Manx hills.
Proposals have been submitted to paint the stone feature which is resting on the upper slopes of North Barrule - the Island's second highest peak.
Those behind the application say they believe it would have a positive impact on the community and encourage people to go outdoors and exercise whilst taking in the views of the area.
If approved it would see the landmark painted white - the applicants add, should it be given the green light, it could also be seen as a possible challenge or talking point for anyone trying to locate it from a distance.
