There'll be a high presence of emergency services around Nobles Hospital and Tromode this afternoon.
It's part of a planned multi-agency emergency exercise and casualty actors will be wearing realistic injury makeup.
The government says normal services will continue and patient healthcare will always be a priority.
It adds, the exercise will prepare staff to be ready for real life events.
