A drink-driving banned biker who fled police has been jailed.
26 year old Ashley Robert Gardner of Ronague Road in Castletown admitted drink-driving, driving while disqualified, failing to stop for police, and having no driving licence or insurance.
Police spotted him out of control on a Honda 125 at Cronk Y Thatcher in Colby on July 8 - he rode off before ditching the bike, and was arrested as he tried to climb a wall.
In June, he'd been banned for three years for drug driving.
Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood jailed him for four months and activated eight months of a suspended sentence to run consecutively.
