A school in the south of the Island says it’s planning for the worst in the face of strike action by teachers.
Castle Rushen High School has written to parents explaining its response to the NASUWT strikes on six days between November and February.
The school says parents should prepare to have their children at home on the dates in question, although it says it will try to make arrangements for vulnerable children.
Head teacher Keith Winstanley says he’s planning for a worst-case scenario on November 30 and December 1, as teachers haven’t yet made the scale of the strikes clear.
