Pooch takes on pool for charity!

A rescue dog will swim the equivalent of the TT course to raise money for a local animal sanctuary.

Two-and-a-half-year 'Cyril'. a podenco cross will take on the challenge this weekend.

He'll swim the equivalent of 37 miles at the Bride Pool this Saturday from 12pm.

Caroline Cardona from Greenhills Animal Sanctuary explained Cyril has recently undergone an operation on his leg and has been attending 'Hounds Hydro' to help him recover.

All funds raised from the swim will go towards veterinary costs and maintenance at the sanctuary.
