Beware - puppy scams bite.
That's the message from the Island's constabulary as it sees a rise in the number of online scams.
In a post on social media, officers say scrolling Facebook or looking online to find a fluffy friend may seem convenient - but it doesn't always lead to the happiest of endings.
Police are advising people not so hand money over until you see the puppy in person - and if in doubt, head to the Manx SPCA to adopt a dog in need of a forever home.
