Police say they don't have any access to horses to help with their work on the Island.
A freedom of information request from a UK student asked how many horses the Isle of Man Constabulary owns or uses.
In response, the police service said it didn't have to answer the question under the Island's FOI laws - as those asking questions have to be Manx residents.
However, in response, officers told the student they don't have any access to horses for any of their duties.
