Police have been criticized over their response to a Freedom of Information request about complaints to the Department of Home Affairs.
The Island's Information Commissioner was asked to look at the case after officers took 50 days to respond - well over the 20 days specified by law.
An investigation also found there hadn't been a proper search for the information and no proper refusal notice had been sent.
The Constabulary was told to reassess its response to the request.
