Peel police are investigating the theft of a diesel generator over the weekend.
It was taken from a remote location off the Staarvey Road near Cronk-y-Voddy sometime between Saturday 30th April and this morning.
The Pramac P6000S generator is distinctive owing to it’s lime green casing and the fact it’s mounted on two wheels.
It weighs 200 kilos and it is likely that up to four persons would have been needed to lift it.
The expensive piece of equipment was being used as part of the ongoing works to install the new gas mains pipe through the area.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Peel Police Station.
