Yesterday afternoon a 27 year old male was assaulted in Douglas.
It happened at approximately 2.50pm as the male was walking in the public lane behind Farrant Street, which links Hilary Road and Bury Street.
The male who was assaulted suffered minor bruising, but did not require hospital treatment. It is understood that the person responsible was white skinned and possibly aged between 35 and 40 years old
It's also thought that he was approximately 5ft 10inches and wearing blue jeans and a khaki coloured jacket.
