Offenders Used Scaffolding to Scale Property
Police are appealing for any witnesses to an attempted burglary that took place sometime between 4pm on Tuesday and 8am of yesterday morning on Finch Road in Douglas.
Police believe the offender climbed up scaffolding outside the building and attempted to gain entry to an office window.
The offenders were unable to gain access to the property but Police have said it it highlights the potential problems dangers that can arise when a building is under renovation and scaffolding is needed.
Anyone who has scaffolding erected around a property is reminded to ensure their building is well secured with security alarms installed.
Anyone with information on the attempted break is urged to contact the Police immediately.
