The police are giving advice for kids on how to keep safe whilst trick-or-treating.
Guidance says children should try to be visible with reflective tape, glow sticks and torches, and use battery powered candles instead of real ones.
The police add there's safety in numbers, and trick-or-treaters should stay local and keep to well-lit areas if possible.
Officers are also reminding people not everyone enjoys this year and may not want to be bothered, or have mobility issues which stop them from answering the door.
