Plans unveiled for former primary school

The Department of Education and Children has revealed its plans for a former primary school in Ramsey.

The Albert Road site has been a car park since the school closed in 2008 but plans have now been submitted to transform it into houses, offices, flats and shops.

A planning application by Wardsley Ltd of Braddan shows a large coffee shop with two other stores, along with landscaping and parking.

Although a private company is proposing the work, the land is still owned by the government.
