Could a new glamping site be coming to the Island?
Plans have been put forward to create 20 timber cabins on land off Ballamenagh Road in Baldrine along with 22 parking spaces.
Anchard Leisure - which has submitted the proposals - says the site would use the contours of the surrounding land to be screened from Ballamenagh Road as well as the Groudle Glen Railway line and cafe.
The developer adds its keen to invest in Isle of Man tourism and hopes it would create a mutually beneficial relationship betwen themselves and the Department for Enterprise.
