Douglas Council has applied for planning permission as it presses ahead with a £1.4 million revamp of gardens on the promenade.
The local authority has applied for permission to carry out the work in two Marine Gardens and the Queen's Promenade Gardens.
Its proposals include new play equipment and paths, and were finalised after a public consultation last year.
On Facebook, the local authority has published artist impressions of how the new gardens would look.
