A schoolboy has set up a petition calling on the Manx Government to make the Switchback Road safer.
Lewis Barritt - who is 16 and a student at Castle Rushen High School - says he was inspired to set it up following a tragic accident at the weekend.
On Saturday night 14-year-old Lucia Porter was killed when the car she was travelling in left the road and crashed in a field.
The petition, which has been signed by nearly 900 people, is calling on the Department of Infrastructure to introduce a speed limit and other safety precautions.
Lewis says he feels something must be done:
Drone ban for skateboarding championship
Pick it up plea from Castletown commissioners
New online Isle of Man guide for refugees and asylum seekers
Lifeboat called to yacht's rescue
