Peel's new beach attraction says the bad weather means it won't be able to go ahead this evening as planned.
The Peel Beach Stage, set up by Mannin Music Shop on Market Street, was due to host its first live gig this evening.
Organisers say with heavy rain and gusting winds expected, tonight's entertainment has had to be cancelled.
They're now hoping the weather improves enough for the first gig to go ahead on Thursday.
