Peel could be in line to get a new art and pottery studio, if a planning application is successful,.
The plans to convert a former light industrial building in the Old Gas Mill site on Mill Road would see the studio host events and workshops.
The facility would open from 1pm to 5pm Wednesday to Saturday and employ two staff.
In the application, organisers say they'd also hold evening and weekend events.
