A Peel man who admitted dealing cocaine will be sentenced by the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Kian Broadhead of Birth Drive appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse, when he admitted possessing the drug, possessing it with intent to supply, and possessing criminal property.
The court heard when he was arrested in Foxdale on September 21 he had more than 100 grammes of cocaine worth well over £10,000 as well as £700 in cash.
Mrs Hughes said with such a large quantity of class A drugs involved, the summary courts didn’t have the sentencing powers to deal with the case properly.
She bailed Broadhead and committed him to a Court of General Gaol Delivery, where he’s due to be sentenced on October 14.
