A church court has given permission for statues in the ground of Peel cathedral.
The consistory court of the Sodor and Man diocese gave retrospective permission for the series of sculptures at St German's Cathedral which had been installed over the last decade.
Permission is needed from the court for sculptures that depict living individuals and the court was asked to make a decision after spotting a Facebook post from a model saying they'd been the basis of the sculptures.
After deciding they wouldn't harm the look of the building the court allowed the sculptures to stay in place.
