A political party has accused of former TT rider of misogyny after he launched personal attacks on a former commissioner.
On Facebook, Nick Crowe called Ramsey's Lamara Craine - who stood down from the board at last month's elections - calling her a "radical left wing extremist" and claiming she had an "ugly face".
But the Green Party's hit back at the sidecar racer, who unsuccessfully stood for a House of Keys seat in Ramsey in 2016, calling his comments "dehumanizing misogynistic language".
In a social media post, the party says "such remarks have no place in our community and only distract from the real issues that matter to Ramsey and the Isle of Man".
