Part of the TT course will close during the daytime next week.
An enormous tree near Bishopscourt has Dutch elm disease and needs to be chopped down as it could fall into the road.
As a result, the route will shut from 9.30am to 3.30pm from Monday, October 27 between Bishopscourt Glen and the northern end of Orrisdale Road.
The work should be completed on Wednesday, October 29 but could close on Thursday October, 30 if the weather means the felling has to be put back.
