Parish Walk Sponsors Nominate 5 Charities For People To Get Behind

Early indications show that 2011 could see yet another record number of entrants.

5 charities have been selected by the sponsoring team behind the Parish Walk, in an effort to encourage more competitors to use the experience to raise money for a worthwhile cause.

Scottish Widows have elected Save The Children, Nobles Hospital Special Care Baby Unit, The Wooden Spoon, ABF The Soldiers and the Royal British Legion.

Early indications show that 2011 could see yet another record number of entrants.

Olympian Roger Black has confirmed his entry in this year’s event and will be appearing at the ‘Walk Talk’ on Thursday 7th April.

People have until 15th May to get their entries submitted.
