The royal family and UK government won't be chipping in to pay for work on the governor's Island home.
So says the government, after a Freedom of Information request about planned work, including fitting a new roof, at Government House in Onchan.
In its response, the Cabinet Office said it didn't hold information about the work.
But it added the Department of Infrastructure is responsible for maintaining the site, and neither the UK government nor the royal household funds its maintenance.
