There are currently over 800 people on public housing waiting lists.
That's according to Infrastructure Minister Chris Thomas, based off data from the third quarter of 2022/23.
Douglas City Council reported 224 people waiting to be allocated housing, with the Department of Infrastructure the second highest with 115.
There is no data given on the number of applicants waiting for particular property sizes, as housing providers are not obligated to provide it.
